Stoneygate Tram Depot open day, September 17th & 18th 10am – 4pm

Stoneygate Tram Depot has been independently recognised as a building of historical transport importance and it is the Leicester Transport Heritage Trust’s privilege to be able to open the Depot to visitors. Enjoy vintage bus rides on a number of heritage fleet, plus a number of stalls offering modelling, historic interest, books, transport artifacts. There will also be the chance to sample the historic tram depot which was once a key part of Leicester’s tram network, on Sunday the 1920’s Art Deco ‘Beryl’ Urinals will be open to view.

Toilet and refreshments available on site. Parking in adjacent roads.

There will be 4 x Bus Tours in the local area departing from Stoneygate Tram Depot at 11.30, 12.30, 13.30, 14.30
