IMG_6553On March 15th 1963 at 10.25pm a former London Transport, RT, HLW 151 worked the final Browns Blue service departure from Coalville, Marlborough Square to Ibstock and Heather. To recreate this journey 50 years later Mick Gamble provided his RT, KLB 596, on the night of March 15th 2013 for invited guests which included ex employee’s and members of the Brown family along with local transport enthusiasts. The recreated bus Journey was also part of the Brown’s Blue Anniversary Event which included a meal at the Copt Oak Restuarant for a night of memories and nostalgia for this well remembered Leicestershire Bus and Coach operator.
