The Showbus International Bus and Coach Rally took place at a new venue this year at the Long Marston Airfield, near to Stratford upon Avon. With a vehicle entry list of nearing 300 it is pleasing to report that the ex Leicester City Transport, AEC Bridgemaster 217 AJF owned by the Leicester Bridgemaster Group was voted the Best Vehicle in Show. The other ex Leicester City Transport bus that attended Showbus, the newly restored LTHT owned Dennis Dominator TBC 50X, won Best niche vehicle in Show.
