Another successful LTHT Heritage Bus Running Day.

Saturday 27th July 2019 saw another successful LTHT Heritage Bus Running Day. Despite the wet weather the event which was held at the First Leicester depot on Abbey Lane still attracted many visitors tempted by the attraction of travelling on buses from days passed, including many from the LTHT collection.

The city centre service which ran every 15 minutes gave passengers the flexibility to hop on and off at various centre locations. With the other free bus service connecting to the Abbey Pumping Station Museum and National Space centre over 1,800 passenger trips were recorded on the day on the two routes.
