Mr Williams is a regular customer and I was so excited to have met him as I was a regular on the confidence buses! He’s an absolute gentleman with such a kind heart, and it has brought back many fond and funny memories of school being on these buses and has almost brought it around full circle. Knowing Mr Williams and reading the book has made my smile. Here’s to another 50 years + a massive congratulations on a great book.

If you live or originate from Leicester 50 years of Confidence is a must read whether you know Ken personally or not. As a child growing up in Leicester and going to school you will have travelled on a Confidence bus or your children will have.
His experiences throughout his life will make you laugh and the pictures and history of his working life with all the buses is so interesting.
I can’t express how thrilled I was to read his book and as a friend of Ken’s for many years i found out new things I never knew about his life but also about all of his buses.
