Metropolitan 301

One of the most active ex Leicester buses at the moment is Michael Webster’s,1975, MCW Metropolitan, GJF 301N. After it’s visit to the London Bus Museum at Brookland’s, Surrey in April, again the Metropolitan headed south on the May Spring bank holiday to attend the annual bus rally at the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre, which is based at the Quainton Rd, Railway Station yard.

Out of the numerous AEC Routemaster’s attending the event Metropolitan 301 ‘won best in show’ and the photos here show 301 on it’s return journey from Buckinghamshire and pictures from the event.
