At our Midland Red Spectacular on 20th August, we were privileged to meet Anne Anderson, daughter of Midland Red driver, Denis Thomas Dixey.
Anne had been in correspondence with The Trust about her father in the lead up to the event, sharing her memories and recollections of her father’s long service driving for Midland Red.
Following exchanges of information with Anne, it was great to be able to pull together details from our archive about Denis and to tell his story.
