Route One Trade magazine have featured an article in their latest edition Issue 687 (26 April 2017) on the restoration/repair work taking place at the First Leicester, Abbey Lane depot on the LTHT Trust’s Leyland PD2, FJF 193. Delivered to Leicester City Transport in 1952, sold in 1970 and then repurchased by LCT in 1981 and given a complete restoration at the old Abbey Park Rd garage.
