Bus Rally and Railcar Weekend 2024

Bus Rally and Railcar Weekend – Saturday 18th May and Sunday 19th May 2024

This year, our event will run over two days, Saturday 18th May to Sunday 19th May, with the main bus rally taking place on the Saturday.

Join us at the Great Central Railway’s Quorn & Woodhouse station yard from 10:00-16:30 on both days for a great family day out!

Travel back in time with a variety of heritage and modern buses and coaches running free trips from the site on a variety of routes.

The Great Central Railway will also be running an intensive passenger service, using steam locomotives and diesel railcars, including Derby Lightweight “Iris”, Class 101 Metro-Cammell and the newly acquired more modern Class 153, not normally in passenger service.
